Al Ghazali Says El Rumi-Syifa Hadju's Wedding Will Invite More than 2000 People

After Al Ghazali ended his single life, now it's the turn of his younger brother, El Rumi, who is rumored to be getting married soon to Syifa Hadju. There are rumors that the sacred moment is planned to take place in mid-2026.

Unlike his brother who chose an intimate atmosphere, El's wedding concept is said to be much more festive. Al Ghazali revealed that his brother is planning a massive party that is ready to accommodate thousands of invited guests in Jakarta.

"For me, the reception was private. But for El, he (is handling) it himself, no one is helping, and the event will be more crowded. While mine was private with only 300 people, El might invite more than 2000 people," said Al Ghazali when met in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, Sunday (22/2/2026).

The background of this conceptual difference is quite striking. Al, who prefers privacy, only invites close relatives when getting married, while El seems to want to celebrate the special moment later in the middle of the year with a much broader circle of friends and relations.

Although news about the event taking place in mid-2026 has been circulating widely, the exact date remains a mystery. Al himself has chosen to keep the details of the date secret, but he has hinted that the time has indeed been set. "It's already set, but I just can't share it yet. Just know that it’s close (to my child's estimated birth date)," he said cryptically.

As an older brother, Al has become a source of questions for El in preparing for her big party. From vendor recommendations to price negotiation tricks, these have become their discussion topics, considering El is managing her wedding independently.

"Yes, asking about several things. Like asking, 'How was Kak Al's wedding yesterday?', then for vendor matters asking, 'How about this price? Can we negotiate more?'. There was a lot of sharing about wedding preparations," explained Alyssa Daguise's husband.

Regarding the theme of the event, Al gave a little hint that El and Syifa's wedding will most likely carry a traditional Indonesian nuance. This shows the couple's desire to preserve culture on their happy day. "The wedding concept seems to generally follow the concept in Indonesia. Using a wedding stage, yes, using traditional customs like that," added Maia Estianty's eldest son.

Al also prayed that all preparations for his sister's wedding in the middle of the year will go smoothly. He hopes El and his partner will soon be blessed with children like he is.

"May the prayers continue to smooth the preparations until the D-day. I hope everything goes well, and most importantly, after the wedding, I hope they will quickly have children. Amen," concluded Al.
