The Reason Billy Syahputra's Wife Did Not Join the Visit to Olga's Grave Before Ramadan

Kapanlagi.com - Something was missing during Billy Syahputra's visit to Olga Syahputra's grave this time. His wife, Vika, was not seen accompanying Billy and his extended family when they visited the grave of his brother ahead of the arrival of Ramadan.

Billy explained that his wife's absence during this visit was due to several factors. One of them was a matter of timing and mental unpreparedness.

1. Deviating from the Initial Plan

Billy revealed that initially they planned to visit Olga Syahputra's grave during the day. However, due to work commitments and traffic jams, they only arrived at the grave when it was already dark.

"Yes, coincidentally there was work earlier. We had promised to be there at three o'clock with the family, three in the afternoon. This is what my friends said, twelve o'clock, three o'clock," said Billy Syahputra when met at TPU Malaka, East Jakarta, Wednesday (18/2/2026).

"At three o'clock, I also had an appointment with the family, the family was also waiting. But we really couldn't make it here until what time? Six o'clock," he added.

2. Decision Not to Go to the Grave

The condition of the grave being at night made the wife feel worried and scared. This was what led Vika to ultimately decide not to go down and instead pray in front of the late Olga Syahputra's tomb.

"Well, the main factor is that it was already night, Vika was a little worried because she is not used to visiting graves at night as it can feel scary," she said.

"In Indonesia, graves can sometimes be crowded like this, you saw it yourself earlier. So that’s why Vika didn’t attend because it was already night and she was a little worried," she continued.

3. Not Forcing One's Will

Actually, Billy has tried to convince his wife that the cemetery is quite crowded because there are a large family and local residents. However, he chose not to force his will if his wife truly feels uncomfortable coming to the cemetery at night.

"I said there are elderly people, everyone is gathered here but if she doesn’t want to, then there’s no need to force it," he concluded.
