After a long absence from the screen, beautiful artist Cut Tari has finally decided to return to the world of acting. This time, the 46-year-old woman has been cast in the latest web series titled Samuel. In this adaptation of a popular Wattpad story, Cut Tari will act alongside young actor Fadi Alaydrus.

Her decision to return to acting is not without reason. After a long time focusing on managing her household following her second marriage to Richard Kevin, Cut Tari feels this is the right moment to reconnect with her fans through the character of a loving mother.

"Actually, after my second marriage, I really focused on the family, adapting to everything, so I was indeed focused on household matters back then," said Cut Tari when met at MD Place, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Friday (20/2/2026).

The former presenter of Insert explained that her hiatus from the entertainment world was her own choice for the sake of family priorities. Her marriage to Richard Kevin, which united two families with children from previous relationships, required extra attention to adapt.

"I miss it, but yes, it really has to be prioritized, so I follow that. No, my husband doesn't forbid me, he just prefers me to focus more at home first. Because we are in a merger marriage, right, I have one child, my husband has two children, we still have to adapt," she added.

As a full-time housewife, Cut Tari admits to finding her own excitement that is just as busy as shooting. She enjoys her domestic role, including learning to cook to please her beloved husband.

"Oh my, I actually think it's really fun, being a housewife is so much fun and busier than my job when I'm in entertainment. It turns out that being a housewife is really busy, managing A, B, C, D like that," she expressed enthusiastically.

Regarding her cooking skills, Cut Tari honestly admits that she prefers Western cuisine over Indonesian dishes. The reason is simple and quite amusing: because the spices in Indonesian cooking are considered too complicated for her.

"Oh I do cook, especially at the beginning, but I only cook what my husband likes. When it comes to Indonesian cooking, I'm not very skilled, you know why? Because the spices are overwhelming. Western cuisine has fewer spices, it's fun and easy to learn," she said while laughing.

Now, with her husband's full support, Cut Tari is ready to re-enter the entertainment industry in the country. She hopes that this return can be a good start for future projects.
