Kapanlagi.com - Tasyi Athasyia reported several social media accounts that defamed her name to the Jakarta Metro Police in July. This was done to clear her name from various negative accusations.
Today, Thursday (5/10/2023), Tasyi was supposed to undergo the mediation process with the accused. However, through her legal representative, Sandy Arifin, the mother of two firmly rejected the mediation efforts.
"My client, through her legal representative, has stated her rejection of mediation. I will send a letter stating her absence in the mediation," said Sandy when contacted by phone.
Sandy Arifin reveals the reasons why Tasyi Athasiya refused to participate in mediation. She wants the case to continue to be investigated so that her name is truly cleared.
"My client refused because she wants to continue this case. She wants the legal process to continue until the perpetrator is found," Sandy asserts.
When met in July, Tasyi Athasiya felt that what some social media accounts had done had hurt her. So there are no more peaceful efforts.
"Of course, I want to clear my name, reveal the truth, and seek justice as fairly as possible because this is already very evil. In my opinion, the manipulation of opinions and lies has gone too far," Tasyi asserts.
