Tepeng Steven & Coconut Treez Passed Away, Micky AFI Remembers the Late Brother

Kapanlagi.com - Sad news came from the music world of the homeland. The vocalist of the reggae band Steven and The Coconut Treez, Steven Nugraha Kaligis (46) or commonly known as Tepeng, passed away today, Tuesday (22/06) due to being tested positive for Covid-19 and having kidney problems.

Tepeng took his last breath at Medika BSD Hospital, South Tangerang at 7:30 AM. The death of the singer of Welcome To My Paradise was confirmed directly by Steven & Coconut Treez on their official Instagram account.

Behind the death of the vocalist, many netizens just found out the fact that one of the participants of Akademi Fantasi Indosiar, Micky AFI, is the biological sibling of the late Tepeng.

The man named Mickey Octapatika uploaded an Insta Story with touching words. He also started the sentence by stating that many people did not expect that two singers from different genres are siblings.

"Brother.. Many people don't believe that we are siblings. They say we are very different. Yes, we are very different, bro. But our differences are what complete each other. Rarely meet, rarely chat, but Mike knows, brother supports Mike a lot," Micky wrote at the beginning of the sentence.

2. Everyone Loves the Late Tepeng

Micky concluded the expression of loss for his brother with emotional words. He wrote a sentence stating that his whole family loves the late Tepeng very much.

"Mike loves you, we all love you. 'Welcome To Paradise,' bro. Keep singing there, bro," Micky ended with a love emoticon and a hug.
