Tersenggol, Dikna LIDA 2020 Admits to Being a Fan and Engaging in Dangdut Music Because of Lesti

Kapanlagi.com - Dikna's performance representing East Java in the 2020 Liga Dangdut had to be stopped. He became a contestant who got eliminated in the episode on Tuesday (3/3/2020) because the judges chose to save Igo, who represented South Sumatra, when both of them were in the bottom two positions.

According to Dikna, the competition in this year's competition is considered tough. Because the participants who made it to the top 44 round are considered to have their own strengths.

"Indeed, in LIDA 2020, all participants are good, so we must always learn. We must not be satisfied with praise. We must constantly dig into our weaknesses based on what the judges talk about. Alhamdulilah... Dikna can continue to perform the best even though Dikna still has many shortcomings, more or less daring," said Dikna when met by KapanLagi.com at Studio 6 Indosiar, Daan Mogot, West Jakarta.

1. Because of Lesti D'Academy

Speaking about love for dangdut, Dikna admitted that he has liked this genre since he was a child. However, during junior high school, he joined a band that focused on pop genre instead.

But when he saw Lesti performing in D'Academy, his love for dangdut grew again and eventually this girl from Lamongan focused on learning dangdut songs.

"I've known dangdut since I was a child. But when I was in junior high school, I joined a pop band. However, when I saw Kak Lesti on TV, I wanted to sing dangdut. I don't know, seeing Kak Lesti always singing from the heart, it sounds so good to people," he said.

2. Meeting Idol

After seeing Lesti in D'Academy, Dikna became a fan of the singer of the song Egois. He was grateful to finally meet her because he participated in the LIDA 2020 event.

"I'm a fan of Kak Lesti because she is friendly, has a good voice, and is just really nice. I already met her yesterday, it felt like a dream, but I haven't had the chance to take a photo together. Yesterday, we hugged and exchanged greetings," he recalled.
