Tessa Kaunang's Reason for Being Content with Being Single: She Has Experienced Domestic Violence and Infidelity

Kapanlagi.com - Tessa Kaunang candidly revealed that she had experienced Domestic Violence (KDRT) and infidelity when she was still in a marriage with Sandy Tumiwa. Tessa also admitted that when she got married to Sandy, her family experienced financial difficulties.

"Yes, at that time, I was still married. There was domestic violence, infidelity, and financial difficulties because I couldn't provide or finance the family. All of that happened," said Tessa Kaunang at the Metro Jaya Police, Thursday (25/5/2023).

Tessa refused to elaborate on the infidelity, but she revealed that she had experienced various forms of domestic violence, both physical and psychological.

"All sorts of things happened back then, like being beaten, having things broken, and being thrown with all sorts of objects," she said.

2. Still Haunted

Those events still haunt her and have left her traumatized. That's why she is still content with being single after separating from Sandy Tumiwa in 2014.

"Trauma is bound to happen. So now, maybe one of the reasons why I'm not in a hurry to get married," she said.

3. A Valuable Lesson

The mother of two children did not deny that the incident she experienced was a valuable lesson for her if she wants to get married and start a new family in the future.

"If we are really compatible, he can fulfill all my shortcomings, I can cover his shortcomings, we can unite so that it will not be like before, I can be more careful, that's why I can take the next step. I want to find a husband who is really not like that. From what I have learned, character can be seen from the beginning. It is difficult to change someone's character. So just wait for my invitation haha, I will only get married if I am sure," she said.
