Before HYDE, Tetsu will also perform in Indonesia this year!
Kapanlagi.com - Back in 2012, the legendary Japanese rock band, L'Arc~en~Ciel came to Indonesia. And now, after 13 years, they 'return' in a different format, namely a band called Like~an~Angel.
For those who don't know, Like~an~Angel is a band formed by Tetsuya, the bassist of Laruku, in 2023. This band was specifically created to perform or cover Laruku's songs.
In addition to Tetsu on bass, the other members are Jekyll (vocals), Saki (guitar), Reno (guitar), and Hibiki (drums). They came to Indonesia through an event titled LaLaLa Fest 2025 held on August 22, 2025, at Jiexpo Kemayoran, Jakarta.

At exactly 22:00, Like~an~Angel appeared before the fans on the Karma stage. It turns out that the guitarist Reno was not present on this occasion, leaving Tetsu, Jekyll, Saki, and Hibiki.
As soon as they took the stage, the audience erupted in cheers, most of them shouting the name of Tetsu, the bassist and also the founder of the band.
Without further ado, Tetsu and the band immediately performed the song Ibara no Namida as the opener. Besides the much-anticipated performance from Tetsu, fans were also captivated by Jekyll's vocal voice, which was very similar to the original singer: Hyde.
After that, a series of other popular hits were performed in turn, such as Chase, Existence, Ready Steady Go, Driver's High, My Heart Draws a Dream, and XXX.

In between their performance, Jekyll the vocalist greeted the audience in quite fluent Indonesian.
"Good Evening Jakarta! Thank You!" Jekyll exclaimed, which was warmly welcomed by the fans.
Jekyll also took the time to introduce each member to the fans in order, starting with himself, Saki, Hibiki, and Tetsu, who also said 'Thank You' in Indonesian.

Not to forget, Like~an~Angel also performed their only original song; Angel Beside YoU. Surprisingly, many fans already knew the song and sang along throughout the performance.
After that, the last 3 songs performed were Black Rose, Daybreak's Bell, and Anata. In the last mellow song, the audience was invited to turn on the flashlights on their cameras to create a sea of light that was touching.
The time to part had come. However, the audience seemed unwilling to let go and collectively shouted 'Encore!' and 'We Want More!', hoping that Tetsuya and the others would perform again with another song. Unfortunately, the fans had to bite their fingers as their request went unheeded. There was no encore performed by Like~an~Angel that night.

After Tetsuya and the others left the stage, some fans hurried to move to the Main Stage to watch the main headliner of LaLaLa Fest 2025 Day 1, Camila Cabello. However, a handful of people chose to stay at the Karma venue, where Like~an~Angel performed.
In fact, the Indonesian Cielers were also seen gathering together, entertaining themselves by singing the song Anata together in front of the Karma stage.
After this, LaLaLa Fest 2025 will continue to Day 2 and Day 3 with a lineup of performers that are just as cool, such as Black Eyed Peas, Lany, Keshi, Mew, Hearts2Hearts, and many more.
