Thalia and Thania's Birthday, Ruben Onsu Prepares a Simple Surprise

Kapanlagi.com - Both of Ruben Onsu and Sarwendah's children, Thalia and Thania, will celebrate their birthdays tomorrow (5/6). This is the first time Thalia and Thania celebrate their birthdays together.

"We can't go anywhere for their birthday. This is their first birthday together. Thalia and Thania have their birthdays at the same time," said Ruben Onsu when met in Tendean, South Jakarta, on Thursday (4/6).

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, they can only hold a simple event at home. Although sad, Ruben Onsu still has his own way to make his two daughters happy.

"Yes, it's definitely sad, but it's not just us who feel it, it's the whole world. We have to understand that and we have another way for our children not to feel the loss of the birthday atmosphere," he said.

1. Prepare Surprises in the Morning

Ruben Onsu and his family have also prepared a simple surprise in the morning for Thalia's 5th birthday and Thania's first birthday.

"(Preparation) just the cake and then a surprise in the morning. Thalia wants to take a good photo first. In the morning, fill it with her photos only. We can't invite (people). We also don't invite relatives. If we invite one, it's better to invite everyone, right?" said Ruben Onsu.

2. Betrand Peto's Request

Surprising in the morning turns out to be the request of Betrand Peto, the older brother.

"He (Betrand) doesn't want his sister to be startled at midnight, Thalia is still 5 years old. Because he is my first child, I follow what my child wants. It's true that it's better so that his younger sister won't be cranky because of lack of sleep. It's better to surprise her in the morning," he concluded.
