The 2 Decade Concert of Kotak Success Held, Indonesia National Team Coach Watches Beside Tantri's Husband

Kapanlagi.com - The music group Kotak successfully celebrated two decades of their career with a grand concert titled "2 Decades of Kotak" held at the GBK Basketball Hall in Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Saturday (23/11/2024).

This concert was a special and historic moment for the band, which now consists of Tantri (vocals), Cella (guitar), and Chua (bass).

The "2 Decades" event felt special because this was Kotak's first solo concert in their 20 years of working in the Indonesian music industry.

They presented a number of hit songs such as "Pesta", "Energi", "Rock Never Dies", "Masih Cinta", "Selalu Cinta", "Kecuali Kamu", "Satu Indonesia", "Tinggalkan Saja", and "Beraksi".

Every song performed succeeded in bringing the atmosphere of that night to life and made the fans, known as Kerabat Kotak, sing along.

Tantri, the vocalist of Kotak, revealed that this concert was prepared for four months and is fully dedicated to their loyal fans, the Kerabat Kotak.

"We spent four months organizing this concert, and everything is dedicated to Kerabat Kotak. This is our first solo concert, and honestly, it's not easy to put on a concert like this. We appreciate all of you who have come and purchased tickets," said Tantri from the stage.

She also realized that this paid concert posed a unique challenge for the fans. Nonetheless, the enthusiasm of the Kerabat Kotak who filled the venue was very touching for Tantri and her colleagues.

"All the friends in the stands, VIP, or at the festival. It must have taken a lot of effort to get here. Usually, watching Kotak for free on TV is now paid, I really appreciate your effort to come here. Usually, I see Kotak on Inbox and Dahsyat, and now it's paid, thank you," said Tantri.

In addition to performing their hit songs, Kotak also presented special collaborations that captivated the audience's attention. Sara Wijayanto performed the song "Inspirasi Sahabat", Yacko ignited the spirit with "Sabda Netizen", and Marcello Tahitoe brought a different energy with "Kosong Toejoeh".

Another interesting moment came when the coach of the Indonesian National Team, Shin Tae-yong, also attended the concert. Wearing batik clothing, Shin Tae-yong was seen sitting next to Arda, Tantri's husband.

"Our concert was attended by Shin Tae-yong. Why did STY come? Because Kotak is 20 years old, 2 Indonesia, 0 Saudi Arabia," said Tantri, which was immediately met with laughter from the audience.

In this concert that lasted about two hours, Kotak performed a total of 24 songs with great energy. The success of the "2 Decades of Kotak" concert is a testament that their long journey continues to shine.

Thanks to the collaboration of Bersama Entertainment, Northstar Entertainment, and Megapro Communications, this event not only satisfied Kotak's fans but also affirmed that Kotak remains one of the best rock bands in the country.
