The owner of the full name Mahbub Herjunot Ali began his career in the entertainment industry through the MTV VJ event. Despite becoming a successful actor, Junot apparently experienced a difficult life.
At that time, Junot used to be a seller of used newspapers. In fact, Junot used to be a gas refill delivery person from house to house on a daily basis.
"Back in the day when I didn't have money, I used to sell used newspapers. I used to deliver LPG gas, when I was young, used newspapers were sold by kilo," said Junot as quoted by Youtube Daniel Mananta.
"There were about 5 kilos per day, I carried kilos of used newspapers to the market and only got around 200 perak, 200 perak back then was probably like 4000 times now," said Herjunot Ali.
At that time, many people looked down on him. Even until now, when he is successful, he still remembers strongly who were the people who once looked down on him.
"If you ask me if I still remember the people who used to look down on you? I still remember. Until today, I will never forget," he concluded.
Junot was raised in a very humble family, even being underestimated by his school friends during junior high school.
