The Indonesian comedy world has lost one of its best talents. Mudy Taylor passed away on Tuesday evening (25/11/2025) and was immediately buried that night. The burial ceremony was conducted as soon as possible at the Joglo Public Cemetery (TPU), West Jakarta, not far from the late's residence.

Doni, Mudy Taylor's manager, confirmed that the body was buried just a few hours after being declared dead by the hospital. The burial location was chosen due to its proximity to the funeral home in the Kreo area, Joglo.

"It was done last night, buried around 10 o'clock. At 10, half past 11 at night. In the Joglo cemetery, Mas. He lived around that area. Yes, that area for sure. Joglo, Kreo is the name of that place," said Doni when contacted by Kapanlagi.com on Wednesday (26/11/2025).

The news of Mudy's sudden passing shocked his colleagues. The solidarity of the comedians was clearly visible at the funeral home and burial site.

Several big names in the entertainment industry, especially members of the Indonesian Comedy Artists Association (PaSKI), were seen present to pay their last respects to the humorous figure.

"Alhamdulillah many comedian friends also came yesterday, Sir. Like Sir Tarzan. Yes, quite a few comedians came to pay their respects yesterday. There was Sir Tarzan, there was Yadi Sembako, there was Daus Mini. Well, those are the ones I know. The others, I don't really know. Yes, almost all the kids from PaSKI, those people almost all came," he added.

Doni himself admitted he was very shocked when he first heard the sad news. He received a text message from Mudy Taylor's wife using the late artist's phone, informing him that her husband had passed away. He remembered Mudy as a kind-hearted person. The deceased left behind a wife and one child.

"I was also shocked, suddenly his wife WhatsApped me using his phone... like that. He has one child, Sir. One child. Ready, ready. Yes, God willing, he was a good person," Doni concluded.
