The Touching Reason Behind Joshua Suherman's Family Tattoo: An Indelible Symbol of His Parents

Joshua admitted that this tattoo was made when he had to move houses after getting married and leaving his mother's house for the first time in his life.

"At that time, it was because I had never lived away from my parents. So when I got married, it was the first time I moved out, and I missed them quite a bit," he said.

He reminisces about the times when going home to his parents' house was still a routine. Now, visits to his parents' house are just limited to 'staying over'.

"Before, I would still sleep in my own room. Tomorrow, if I go to my parents' house, it's not called going home but staying over at my parents' house, those are the things that make me emotional," Joshua explained.

The decision to get a family face tattoo was not made in secret. Joshua first asked for his mother's permission and explained his reasons directly. "To my mom, I explained the purpose, she understands. I'd rather ask for permission than apologize," Joshua asserted.

According to him, this tattoo is not just a form of expression, but also an emotional and spiritual reminder of home and family. "Because asking for forgiveness is cheating, I don't dare do that to my mom," he added.

Regarding the plan to add a new tattoo, Joshua admitted he is still considering it because he is worried it will complicate things during filming. "Actually, the reason why I haven't added a tattoo until now is that it will be difficult during filming," concluded Joshua.
