Dinda Hauw, who stars alongside Wafda Saifan, brought her favorite food during the shoot! Just imagine, in the cold of Japan, Dinda remains loyal to eating rendang and spicy tuna that she brought from Indonesia. “I asked my fellow cast members if they wanted me to bring anything, but they all just stayed silent. Luckily, I brought extra, so I could share,” said Dinda jokingly. Wafda Saifan added, “We were silent because our fingers were frozen, we couldn't type!" It really is a struggle shooting in extreme weather.

Shooting the film Winter Elegy has been full of challenges, especially because of the extremely cold weather. Director Danial Rifki shared, “Usually we are in hot and humid Jakarta, suddenly shooting in minus 15 degrees. Even just talking, my jaw feels stiff.” Despite that, the final result will definitely make you very curious about the exciting story and beautiful visuals of this film.
