The Figure of Futri Zulya, Zulkifli Hasan's Daughter Who Successfully Became an Entrepreneur and Founded a Free School

Kapanlagi.com - Futri Zulya, the daughter of politician Zulkifli Hasan, has recently become the talk of the town for filing for divorce from her husband, Ahmad Mumtaz Rais, who is the son of politician Amien Rais.

However, behind the problems in her marriage, Futri Zulya continues to work and run all of her businesses. Together with her younger sister, Zita Anjani, she has also just released a novel entitled 'Rantau' which is inspired by their father's struggle to achieve his dreams in the capital city.

1. Successful Entrepreneur

Futri Zulya also shared her initial interest in the business world, which was sparked by her father. After graduating from the School of Business and Management at ITB and continuing her postgraduate studies at the Australian National University (ANU), Canberra, Futri Zulya began to start her own business.

"Pak Zul is actually an entrepreneur. He used to be a salesperson when he sold his employee training, and I caught the entrepreneur spirit from him. So after graduating, I worked for a multinational company for a year, but I felt limited working for that company. But if I have a business, it can benefit people, have many employees, have a greater impact, so I started a business," said Futri Zulya when met in the Gunawarman area, South Jakarta, not long ago.

In addition to focusing on raising her two children, Futri currently manages a business network in the Women & Children sector which oversees several business units, including Kids Republic School (Playgroup, Kindergarten & Primary), Kidz Clinic Children & Development Center, and Zglow Aesthetics Clinic which are spread across various regions in Indonesia.

2. Establish Free School

Not only active in the business world, Futri Zulya and her sister Zita Anjani also pay attention to the education world in Indonesia by establishing free schools. In addition to founding Kids Republic in Jakarta, they are also actively involved in developing SMA Kebangsaan located in Kalianda, South Lampung, the birthplace of their beloved father.

"Actually, it was our father's initiative because he was concerned about the education world as he didn't have money when he was a child. It was difficult for him to go to school, let alone go to college for 12 years because he had to support his family. He wanted children in Lampung to have good access to education without having to pay. Finally, SMA Kebangsaan was established," explained Futri Zulya.

3. Being a Strong Woman

Speaking of woman empowerment, Futri Zulya also often provides training for women. For example, she once provided training for vintage makeup artists to have skills that are not inferior to today's makeup artists.

"I often provide training. I once did a charity makeup artist event where the makeup tools were still vintage and the techniques were still old-fashioned. We provided makeup training so that they could be like today's makeup artists," said Futri Zulya.

According to her, as a woman, one must be a strong figure and have skills to be able to create. "If the mother falls, the family falls. That's why I hope Indonesian women stay strong, continue to create, but still don't forget their nature," she concluded.
