The Latest Condition of Irwansyah's Late Mother, Leaving a Will for the Family Before Coma

Kapanlagi.com - Not yet recovered after losing his father some time ago, Irwansyah is mourning again with the death of his mother. Before taking her last breath on Wednesday (8/4), Herliana was conscious of being in a coma in the midst of her struggle against Covid-19.

Irwansyah's mother was treated at the hospital towards the end of her life. Although she had been using a ventilator and consuming various cutting-edge drugs, her mother's saturation continued to decline to below 50%.

The doctor who handled it said that Herliana's condition was classified as severe, where the drugs she received were no longer accepted by her body. This certainly made Irwansyah more devastated, considering his mother's illness did not take long after his father's departure.

Experiencing a series of trials, Irwansyah, who usually always tried to be strong in front of his family, could not hold back his sadness. Zaskia Sungkar revealed that her husband kept crying while continuing to do his best for Herliana.

"I faced Irwan a few days ago, every day, every 5 minutes, Irwan cried, because indeed from the doctor's data, it was heavy, Mama was really heavy," said Zaskia Sungkar, as quoted from The Sungkars Family YouTube channel.

The chaos of Irwansyah and his family is increasing because their mother left her final will before falling into a coma. Although the family tried everything to make their mother healthy again, it turned out that Herliana instructed them not to use medical devices if something unwanted happened.

"Later, if something happens to me, I don't want to be forced to use medical devices or anything like that," Zaskia Sungkar recalled.

With a heavy heart and various considerations, Irwansyah and his two siblings agreed to fulfill their mother's wishes. The intake of medication was slowly stopped even though the ventilator remained attached to their mother's body.

Herliana's children also apologized to their mother through a video call. It was said that Herliana still heard what her children said even though she was in a coma.

2. Managed to Wake Up When Hearing the Recitation of the Quran

With Herliana's condition worsening due to lack of medication, Irwansyah can only surrender to the Almighty. However, at that moment, a miracle happened where Herliana briefly regained consciousness and even raised her hand.

This miracle happened when a nurse played the recitation of the Quran sent by Irwansyah and Zaskia Sungkar for the comatose Herliana. Shortly after listening to the verses of the Holy Quran, Herliana opened her eyes, raised her hand, and entrusted a message to the nurse.

"Mama is awake, mama only spoke to the nurse, asking not to turn off the recitation," said Zaskia Sungkar.

"She raised her hand in the video, showing that I am still alive, that I am still fighting, and mama asked her child to keep fighting too," added Irwansyah.
