The woman who comes from the Javanese tribe and lives in Bali admits that she started her rain shaman actions at the age of 9. Rara inherited this ability from her ancestors.

"This uses incense, onions, and chili. This incense is broken into two short pieces and inserted into the onion and chili, then planted in the ground. This incense is a code of nature, like an SOS. The remaining long incense is burned for the element of heat," she added.

However, KH Ahmad Muwafiq gave a different opinion. In one occasion, the religious leader who is often called Gus Muwafiq said that the action taken by Rara is part of spiritual knowledge.

"Polytheism is not like that. That humans have efforts. For example, to protect themselves from tigers, humans make guns. To protect themselves from earthquakes, they make foundations, to protect themselves from rain, they need knowledge of a shaman. To be anti-rain, they need anti-rain knowledge. If everything is suddenly called polytheism, planting rice to survive is also polytheism. Because they believe more in rice than in Allah," Gus Muwafiq said as quoted from the BBS Kemranjen YouTube channel on Friday (25/3/2022).
