Tia Septiana, the daughter of Mandra, recently shared her experience of being rejected for a casting. The reason Tia was rejected was due to the number of followers on her Instagram account, which was considered too few. Check out her full story below!
Tia Septiana is catching attention due to her beautiful face; it turns out she once had an unpleasant experience while auditioning for a film whose title she did not mention.
"Yes, during the casting, they asked how many followers I had, and when I said this number, they said, 'Oh, that's not enough,'" she said in Rumpi No Secret, which was viewed on the Trans TV YouTube channel on Wednesday (4/12/2024). Â
"The movie has already been released, and the character also has a huge following. But it can't be a benchmark for the quality of the film based on the number of followers. Not all production houses may be like that, just a few," she said.
In the interview, Tia explained that she never mentioned that she was Mandra's daughter during the casting process, because she wanted to be recognized for her talent and work, not just her father's big name.
Tia's experience did not discourage her; instead, it became a motivation for her to be even more enthusiastic.
