Singer Anggun C. Sasmi will perform at the Peak Night of the Indonesian Film Festival (FFI) 2024, scheduled to take place on November 20, 2024. This performance is expected to be one of the main highlights of the prestigious event. Check out the complete portrait below!
"This year, we are very lucky that there are three series of performances that will take place to enliven the award night celebration on the 20th (of November)," said Ario Bayu at the Main Building of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, as reported by Insertlive.
Anggun will perform several theme songs from Indonesian films, including Bimbang Tanpa Pegangan from the classic film Tiga Dara (1957) and other songs that have become iconic in the Indonesian film industry.Â
"She is a singer, an Indonesian, but she has reached an international level, namely Mbak Anggun," concluded Ario Bayu.
Besides Anggun and Kris Dayanti, this event will also feature two other special performances whose identities are still kept secret.
The Chairman of FFI, Ario Bayu, revealed that the presence of Anggun and other musicians is expected to enhance the excitement of the peak night, which is an important moment to celebrate the best works in Indonesian cinema.
