The Third Son Suffers from Pneumonia, 8 Portraits of Zaskia Adya Mecca Admitting to Often Crying Alone - Burdened by the Life of a Mother

Zaskia Adya Mecca turns out to have been spending more time in the hospital lately. This is because her third son, Bhai Kaba, needs treatment for the pneumonia he is suffering from.

As a mother, Zaskia is naturally worried about her son's condition. Especially since pneumonia and asthma attacks, Bhai Kaba had to be taken to the ICU.

Nevertheless, Zaskia tries to stay strong and divide her time with her other children. She also mentioned that this is the risk she has to take for having many children.

"The risk of having many children is that there is only one body and one head, but they can share among the five children," said Zaskia Adya Mecca when met in the Alam Sutera area, South Tangerang, recently.

"Everything has to be taken care of, work has to be done, the younger siblings have to be monitored, they need our attention," she continued.

However, being busy as a mother certainly has an impact on herself. The wife of director Hanung Bramantyo doesn't even have time for herself, which makes her sad and even cry when driving alone.

"Or during this journey, when I'm driving home for a while, sometimes I cry alone while driving or when I'm taking a shower," she said.

Zaskia also revealed that crying is a form of emotional release for the burden that is buried within oneself.

However, she still cannot show this in front of her children.

"Well, because women still feel the need to express themselves, feel sad, feel stressed. But they can't show it to their children, and there's no time, so when I'm alone, sometimes I let out those feelings," she concluded.
