The Vadel Badjideh Case Advances to Investigation, Nikita Mirzani's Side Grateful for Clearer Legal Process

This was confirmed by the Acting Head of Public Relations at the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Nurma Dewi. Fahmi Bachmid, as Nikita's legal counsel, expressed his gratitude for the elevation of the case status. According to Fahmi, the legal process following the rules emphasizes the police's commitment to handling the report seriously.

"If the public relations information indicates that the investigation has progressed, I am grateful, meaning the process is proceeding according to the rules, as it should be," said Fahmi Bachmid at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Friday (25/10/2024).

Furthermore, Fahmi revealed that this investigation stage brings them closer to clarity regarding the outcome of the ongoing legal process.

"Well, if the investigation stage has begun, it means counting the days. We will just wait to see what happens next. This means the process continues, it is ongoing," he said.

1. Witnesses Will Be Called Again

At this stage of the investigation, according to Fahmi, the witnesses who were previously examined will be asked for their statements again to strengthen the investigation. Including Vadel Badjideh himself as the reported party in this case.

"God willing, the witnesses will soon be asked for their statements again as witnesses. If yesterday they were interrogated or clarified or requested for statements," he said.

Fahmi also plans to inform Nikita about this latest development. It is known that Nikita has just arrived in Indonesia after performing umrah.

"Yes, she just got back. And maybe after this, this is new information just now. Maybe after this I will try to call Niki. Maybe WhatsApp, because when I call her, her voice is indeed a bit low. Maybe she's tired because she just returned from umrah, later I will try to call," said Fahmi.

Fahmi continued that the status of this investigation is good news for his side. He also expressed appreciation to the police who have processed Nikita's report in accordance with legal regulations.

"This is definitely very good news. I am also very grateful to the investigators, to the public relations who have processed Nikita's report according to the legal corridor, in accordance with the correct regulations, in accordance with the legal processes stipulated in the Criminal Procedure Code, like that," concluded Fahmi Bachmid.
