Starting from a report by one of his fans, Baim Wong just found out that the scammers nowadays are getting more cunning in their actions. Not only that, the amount offered by the fake 'Baim Wong' reaches Rp 100 million.
"Online friends, if you know Baim Wong or his team, please let them know that the 'Pick Random and Win 100 Million' content is being misused by others for fraud. The housemaid at home just got scammed, the story was so convincing because suddenly she cried and entered the studio, 'Brother, I got 100 million from Baim Wong'," wrote one of the reports uploaded by Baim on his Instagram.
Initially, the employer was skeptical and called it a scam. However, according to the domestic worker, she even made a video call with a fake 'Baim Wong'.
Eventually, the employer's suspicion was proven true after the scammers pressured the domestic worker to send her home address. Fortunately, she did not comply with their request.
"Finally, I read the chat, it was terrifying! Besides asking for ransom, he also asked about my job. When I said I was a domestic worker, the scammer asked for a clear and complete address of where I work. Then he said, 'Don't tell the boss at home because Mr. Baim doesn't want to know too much because he's afraid of showing off'. Crazy! Luckily, I didn't comply, what would have happened if I secretly gave the address?" she continued.

After reading the report, Baim Wong seems to have run out of patience. He asked all his followers to gather evidence of transfers if they have ever been deceived by a similar scam.
Baim also promised to thoroughly investigate the matter. He hopes that there will be no more victims of similar scams in the future.
"Those who have been deceived and have TRULY TRANSFERRED (whether it's through SMS or anything else), DM me with the evidence. God willing, we will catch them. I can't stay silent anymore," he emphasized.
