The Video Went Viral Because She Congratulated Andrea Dian When She Tested Positive for Corona, Presenter Insert Jesslyn Lim Apologizes

Kapanlagi.com - The presenter Jesslyn Lim suddenly went viral on social media. The reason is because she mistakenly congratulated Andrea Dian who tested positive for corona (Covid-19) while hosting the infotainment program Insert Live.

1. Apology

After the video went viral, Jesslyn Lim apologized. Through her personal Instagram account, she also apologized especially to Andrea Dian and her husband, Ganindra Bimo.

"Friday, April 3, 2020, on the show Insert Pagi, there was a mistake that happened which was completely unintentional and I clarified it as soon as possible on the same show as this video. With all humility, and on behalf of the entire @insertlive family, we apologize to those who feel aggrieved," she wrote in the caption.

2. Pray for the Best

"Especially Kak Andrea Dian, Kak Bimo, and family????. May the recovery and the process of Kak Andrea's return home be smooth. And may the family be given true health and happiness," she added.

She also urged netizens not to go out and to isolate themselves #stayathome. Jesslyn also advised to maintain immune system to stay healthy.

3. Positive for Corona

Andrea Dian herself was confirmed positive for Corona on March 22, 2020. She was isolated in a government referral hospital that handles COVID-19, and was later moved to an athlete's dormitory on March 28, 2020.

However, on Wednesday (4/1), she announced good news. After undergoing a series of rapid tests to check for the presence of the coronavirus in her body, Ganindra Bimo's wife was declared negative for Corona.
