At first, Pinky felt disturbed by the various memes of her husband's face circulating on social media and felt ridiculous about the label of being the sound inventor for her husband.

"At first, I was like, what are these people doing, don't they have anything better to do? But over time, it became funny," Pinky explained in an exclusive interview in Blitar, East Java, on Thursday (14/8).

"Because we don't know them. But it seems like they are mocking us. But let's just take it easy," she continued.

Pinky got emotional and wanted to respond when reading negative comments about Memed. However, her husband did not allow it.

"I wanted to, but he said no. Just let it be, they have their own thoughts. They have the right to comment. But we can only accept it," she concluded.

Pinky realizes that if she responds to negative comments, they will only escalate. Memed taught Pinky to respond to this just for fun.

Pinky also finds it amusing to see artists parodying her husband. Even when he appeared on the Pagi Pagi Ambyar show, people were happy to see Memed.

Pinky feels a sense of worry about her husband who is busy with many jobs. Memed is known to often participate in parades for a very long duration, leaving his wife and child at home.

"Yes. It’s like a long-distance relationship, right? There’s always that feeling of, why isn’t he replying to my chat, what is he doing? But then he tells me, it’s still this, still that, so be patient. There are definitely arguments because we are far apart. But we do video calls and phone calls whenever he has free time," she explained.

Pinky also has hopes for her husband. She hopes that after the chaos related to the sound of horeg, people can see the positive side and accept it.

"For me, at first, it was like I couldn't handle it, but once I got used to it, it was fine. My child also once watched a carnival. He just went along with it. He just seemed to be sleeping," she concluded.

Memed's wife claims her hearing is still normal, even though she often watches carnivals. She also recounts that there is a Russian foreigner who is addicted.

"He said he wants to come here again. He will definitely come back here someday because he is addicted to joining the sound horeg carnival. He flew straight here, to Malang, and he said he wants to come back again," said Pinky.

7. Don't Be Arrogant, Memed

When asking Pinky to imagine and send a message to her beloved husband if in a few years she becomes an artist.

"Don't be arrogant. If someone asks for a photo while we are able to serve them, then serve them. Just don't be arrogant," she added.
