Kapanlagi.com - Anwar BAB apparently never forgets to set aside a little of his wealth to participate in the sacrifice on Eid al-Adha every year. This is a form of gratitude from Anwar for the blessings he has received since becoming an artist.
For Anwar BAB, sacrificing is one way to cleanse the wealth he possesses. According to him, in every wealth he owns, there is a right of others.
"When I became an artist, alhamdulillah, I received blessings. So, from the beginning of my career as an artist until now, God willing, if there is fortune, Anwar sacrifices," said Anwar BAB in Tanjung Duren, West Jakarta, recently.
"Because sacrifice is a way, according to the religious teacher, to cleanse our wealth. We never know if there are rights of others in our wealth," he added.
This is Anwar's third year participating in the sacrifice, and he feels happy to be able to give his best sacrificial animal this year. Anwar BAB entrusted his sacrificial animal to be slaughtered in his mother's residence area because during the Eid al-Adha moment, Anwar still had to work.
"If this is the third time, in the past when I was a new artist, the price was 25, 15. Then, when I became an artist, the weight was the biggest, 150 kg last year. Now, I received 850 kg, quite big, masha Allah," he said.
"I put it at Mama's place because coincidentally Anwar had work during Eid, I only performed the Eid al-Adha prayer and gave the meat to the mosque, then I went to work again," he continued.
When asked further, Anwar said that he chose to keep working because it is his responsibility for the agreed work contract.
"Yes, Alhamdulillah. It's not about anything else, it's more about responsibility. Anwar also has regular programs that are quite long. So, it's already an obligation," he concluded.
