This is Ummi Pipik's Reaction When Hearing the News of Abidzar Al Ghifari Experiencing Sexual Harassment

Kapanlagi.com - Abidzar Al Ghifari has just experienced sexual harassment while performing at a karaoke event. Through his Instagram story account, Abidzar uploaded a video showing how his buttocks were touched by someone while he was singing.

This certainly made the son of the late Ustaz Jefri Al Buchori angry. He even intends to report the incident to the authorities if there is no good intention from the perpetrator.

Regarding the incident experienced by his son, Abidzar's mother, Ummi Pipik, has not yet known about it. They haven't had the chance to meet and talk because they are still busy with their respective activities.

"I actually don't know yet, because he hasn't told me about it. I haven't seen his Instagram since yesterday, so I was surprised. (Abidzar) hasn't told me, because I'm out of town," said Ummi Pipik when met in the Kalibata area, South Jakarta, Monday (10/7).

1. Supporting Abidzar's Steps

Meanwhile, Ummi Pipik can only support whatever steps Abidzar takes to resolve this issue, whether it be through peaceful means or through legal channels.

"Maybe we will talk to our child first. Because I just found out too. If we do get that, let it be resolved peacefully, if they want to pursue legal action, then go ahead if someone is harmed. If it is meant to provide a lesson, to have a deterrent effect, then please do so," she explained.

2. Motorcycling While Spreading the Word of God

Furthermore, Ummi Pipik explained why Abidzar was at a karaoke place at that time, as he has a program to spread the word of God with his motorcycle friends.

"Together with his biker friends, they have a program on how to spread the word of God, it doesn't have to be like me, I spread the word of God according to my capacity. Abidzar, at his age, is going through his own process in his own way, but he also includes spreading the word of God. Sometimes, while riding a motorcycle, he would say, 'Let's stop by the mosque to pray first,'" Ummi Pipik concluded.
