Tina Toon Initially Planned to Hold a Wedding at Home, Plan Canceled Because of This

Kapanlagi.com - Former child singer, Tina Toon announced that she has officially married her beloved named Daniel through her personal Instagram account. The artist, who is now a member of the Regional People's Representative Council, said that she got married on June 25, 2023.

"So, on June 25th, I had my wedding and yesterday I published my wedding photo. There were some obstacles and domestic affairs that needed to be resolved before I could publish it," said Tina Toon in the Kapten Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Thursday (7/13/2023).

1. Stepping Back for Various Reasons

Actually, Tina Toon had planned to get married to Daniel in 2022. However, because her grandmother was sick at that time, the plan was postponed.

"Why was it only published now? The initial plan was to get married in 2022. Initially, we were in a relationship for 5 years, but due to the COVID pandemic, it was postponed to 2023. And then my grandma got sick, so we decided to postpone the wedding until she recovers," she said.

2. Originally Wanted to Get Married at Home, But...

Tina Toon added that she had planned to hold her wedding at home so that her grandmother could witness the wedding process directly. However, fate had other plans. Before Tina Toon could have her wedding, her grandmother passed away.

"Originally, I wanted to get married at home so that Grandma could see. And in the end, fate had other plans, Grandma's condition worsened and she passed away. That's what shocked all of us. So, all the plans were ruined, and in the end, we agreed to postpone my marriage plans for three years," she continued.

The well-prepared wedding plans were ultimately shattered. According to tradition, Tina Toon should have postponed the wedding celebration for three years after her grandmother's passing.

3. No Wedding Party Allowed

However, after negotiations with Tina Toon's family, she was finally able to marry her lover. As long as she didn't hold a party.

"So I was confused about how to handle it, in my opinion, tolerance must prevail. I've been single for too long, and my age keeps increasing. Finally, we discussed it and agreed to get married as long as there is no party. So we got married in the church and only registered at the civil registry. But I want to wear a wedding dress. We discussed it again and there are many rules that we have to follow," said Tina Toon.

"Finally, we could do it, and yesterday we had a wedding party attended by only close family members, not more than 50 people. That's external, initially we also wanted to publish it on the wedding day, but there were other considerations. There have been a lot of internal dramas. If we publish everything right away, we will receive a lot of input," concluded Tina Toon.
