Tukul Arwana's Brain Hemorrhage Has No Connection with the COVID-19 Vaccine

Kapanlagi.com - Sad news comes from popular comedian and presenter Tukul Arwana. Tukul is currently being treated intensively in the hospital due to brain hemorrhage or stroke.

Unfortunately, amidst this treatment, a rumor emerged stating that Tukul's illness was caused by side effects of the COVID-19 vaccine. The Chief Executive Officer of the National Brain Center Hospital (RS PON) Prof Dr dr Mahar Mardjono, Jakarta, Dr Mursyid Bustami, Sp.S (K), KIC explained what actually happened on Friday morning (24/9/2021).

"Spontaneous brain hemorrhage is a stroke. This is a disease that has underlying factors, there are potential health conditions that can lead to a stroke. The blood vessels have weak points in the brain, at certain times when the pressure increases, they burst. Generally, patients will complain of headaches and then experience a decrease in consciousness," explained Dr. Mahar.

1. Denial Because of COVID-19 Vaccine

Regarding the rumor that Tukul's illness was caused by the COVID-19 vaccine, Dr. Mahar firmly denied it. He also felt the need to inform about this issue to avoid any misunderstandings.

"We need to emphasize that the circulating news may need clarification. There is no connection between brain hemorrhage and the Covid-19 vaccine. So that the public does not misunderstand this and does not raise doubts about getting vaccinated," he stressed.

2. Refusing to Explain Tukul's Condition

After denying that what happened to Tukul was not related to the COVID-19 vaccine, Dr. Mahar refuses to provide an explanation regarding the comedian's condition. It is not his right to explain Tukul's condition.

"I am not entitled to disclose the patient's condition as it relates to the patient's rights. Of course, such information can be obtained from the family," concluded Dr. Mahar.

Hopefully, Tukul recovers quickly and can reunite with his family.
