Turns Out This is the Cause of Luna Maya's Broken Bones and Receiving Many Stitches

Kapanlagi.com - In recent days, Luna Maya has been seen wearing a cast on one of her legs. Her forehead and elbow also appeared to be bandaged. In her latest Youtube video, Luna tells the story of the incident that caused her to experience a fractured bone and injuries on her body.

"I'm going to tell you about my broken leg first. So, actually, last week, a few days before I went to Bali, two days or one day, I fell from my bed," Luna said as quoted from Luna Maya's Youtube channel (3/9).

1. Stretching on the Bed

When she woke up in the morning, Luna, who planned to do her usual routine of exercising, tried stretching on the bed. Luna, who was unaware that she was already at the edge of the bed, then fell.

"So in the morning, I planned to go for a run, and then I tried stretching, rolling around, but it turns out I was already at the edge of my quite high bed. So I was really about to fall on my face," she said.

"I was shocked, reflexively because, you know, waking up in the morning and about to fall on my face, if I didn't reflexively save myself, my head would have hit the ground first. And then I tried to use my leg, but it turns out my leg wasn't ready either. So, in the end, it swelled up and turned blue," she continued.

2. Flying to Bali

With swollen legs, Luna Maya was still unaware that she actually had a fractured bone. She even had time to ride a bicycle for tens of kilometers.

"I do my usual activities, the next day I ride a bike for 40 or 50 km. Oh, okay, it hurts, but I can still walk normally. Well, I limp a bit," she said.

Although her leg has not fully recovered, Luna Maya then decided to fly to Bali. There, she also held a birthday party with her family and friends.

"Then I went to Bali, spent a week there, hahahihi. Actually, after a few days, I saw that the blue color had started to fade, and the swelling too, I thought, oh, this is because of the physiotherapy, okay, this," she said.

3. Falling from the Bicycle

Feeling better, the beautiful 37-year-old artist rode a bicycle again. Unfortunately, she encountered another accident. This time Luna fell from the bike she was riding.

"Until last Saturday, I rode again. When I passed through the village, I let go of the handle, stretching-stretching. Then when it was like this (wanting to hold on), before I could grip properly, suddenly a strong wind blew, and I swerved, dragged, and her glasses broke and stabbed here (forehead), tearing it, and her arm (hit the asphalt)," she recounted.

After the incident, Luna was immediately taken back to the hotel to receive treatment from the doctor they called.

"Until the nurse came to clean it, and when it was being cleaned, 'Oh my goodness, there's a stone the size of a fingertip inside'. Then the doctor came, 'I don't think this needs stitches, just apply a butterfly bandage', so there's a plaster to stick it together. Then her hand was quite big (the tear), so they stitched 5," Luna concluded.
