The husband of artist Jennifer Coppen, Dali Wassink was known to have passed away on Thursday (18/7). The Thai-Dutch descendant man died due to an accident.
In relation to this, the Head of Traffic Unit of Denpasar Police, Kompol Made Teja Dwi Permana, spoke up.

In a zoom interview session on Friday (19/7), Teja stated that they received reports from the public about an accident incident.
In response to the report, when arriving at the scene of the incident, the police found Dali Wassink lying with a motorcycle.
"For the chronology of the incident on the 18th, around dawn, at 02:00, we received a report from the public regarding a traffic accident incident on Sunset Road, near Al Jazirah restaurant," said Kompol Made Teja Dwi Permana.
"We immediately followed up on the report from the public, and the officers went to the scene and found the victim Dali Wassink at the scene with a motorcycle," he continued.
The police then evacuated Dali Wassink, but unfortunately, Dali's life could not be saved. After that, the crime scene investigation was conducted, and two witnesses were examined.
From the witness's statement, the police said that Dali Wassink experienced a traffic accident where the witness saw Dali hit the road barrier and fell without seeing any other vehicles.
"Then we evacuated the victim to the hospital, but the victim's life could not be saved and was declared dead at the hospital," he said.
"Then we checked the victim's ID and processed the ID, as well as examined the witnesses. We obtained 2 witnesses who saw the victim hitting the road barrier in the middle of the road and then falling without involving any other vehicles," he explained.
When asked further, Kompol Made Teja Dwi Permana said that what Dali experienced was categorized as a single accident.
