Two Months After Being Released from Prison, Ibra Azhari Uses Drugs Again Because He Doesn't Have a Job

Kapanlagi.com - For the 6th time, Ibra Azhari was once again apprehended by the police for the same case, namely the alleged abuse of crystal methamphetamine. Ibra was arrested by the West Jakarta Metropolitan Police on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.

According to the West Jakarta Metropolitan Police Chief, Commissioner M Syahduddi, during the arrest release of Ibra, he stated the motive behind Ibra's return to using drugs. Despite only two months of breathing fresh air after the same case, Ayu Azhari's younger brother.

"The motive for drug use is because he admitted to having family problems. He has not had any means of livelihood for a long time, so he turns to drugs," said Commissioner M Syahduddi at the West Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Monday (8/1/2024).

When arrested, Ibra was with his lover, whose initials are NN. Apparently, after being released, Ibra started using drugs again with NN, whom he has been dating for two years.

"They have been dating for 2 years, the information is that they often use drugs together. Shortly after being released from prison, less than 2 months later, he was arrested again. Since getting out of jail, he has been using drugs," he said.

2. Arrested in an Apartment

Ibra and NN, his lover, were arrested in an apartment in the South Tangerang area. Kombes M Syahduddi revealed that the arrest occurred after successfully capturing a dealer who sold the illegal goods to Ibra.

"The chronology comes from the development of the narcotics division. Where there was a transaction in the Tangsel area, then the investigator conducted observations. Two people were arrested in an apartment in the Ciputat area," he said.

3. Evidence of Sabu

From Ibra's arrest, the police managed to obtain evidence of sabu, along with its inhaler. Meanwhile, from the dealer, the police also seized other evidence.

"There is evidence of sabu, as well as one sabu inhaler. The investigator conducted an interrogation on behalf of NDY, securing one plastic clip of sabu, one digital scale," he said.

4. Heavier Punishment

Because this is not the first time Ibra has been caught for drug abuse. Certainly, the punishment faced will be even heavier.

"Opportunity for aggravated sanctions. The shortest maximum is 4 years, the longest is 12 years. YBS as an active user," he concluded.
