This series, created by Ardy Octaviand, is adapted from a novel titled Pay Sooner or Later by Adrindia Ryandizsa. Amanda is trusted to portray the main character named Tika, who is trapped in debt due to her shopping hobby.

"This series is really exciting because I have never tried the comedy genre before. And the comedy is really funny, not dry, there's drama and a little bit of romance," said Amanda, interviewed in Matraman, East Jakarta, on Friday (3/11/2023).

1. Changing Hair Color

To bring the character of Tika to life, Amanda Manopo will change her hair color. It turns out that it is her own initiative to differentiate herself from previous roles.

"For this series, I'm changing my hair color to be more colorful, because Tika is also an influencer, so I want to be the center of attention. It's not a request from the producer, it's my own initiative. I asked for permission on how Tika's character should be so that it won't be monotonous," said Amanda.

2. Dealing with Online Loans

The series PAY LATER highlights the phenomenon of debt in online loan services, which is currently rampant. As an actress, it turns out that Amanda Manopo has dealt with online loans because her contact number was used as an emergency contact.

"I have experienced dealing with online loans. The impact is being called, asked, 'Do you know this person, Mrs. Amanda? They have this amount of debt.' I have no idea," said Amanda.
