ULTRAMAN ARC appears as a new series from the long-running ULTRAMAN series, also known as the Ultra Series, a Japanese science fiction media owned by Tsuburaya Productions. This series originated from the ULTRAMAN: MONSTER MOVIE FEATURE released back in 1967 and continued in other ULTRAMAN series.

ULTRAMAN ARC is one of the most anticipated series among fans of this franchise. Introducing new transformation items, Ark Alyzer and Ark Cube, fans are eagerly awaiting the airing of this series.

1. The Emergence of a New Hero: Ultraman Arc

A giant light appears when the main character, Yuuma, unleashes the power of his imagination to become one with Luthion, the bearer of light from a distant galaxy. His appearance is exactly like the sketch of "Today's Hero" that Yuuma drew when he was young.

By inserting the power-filled Ark Cube into the Ark Alyzer, a transformation item similar to the Henshin Dogu from the same sketch, he releases a mysterious light and transforms.

His special move is called "Arc Finalize," which is fired by crossing both hands.

2. ULTRAMAN ARC Synopsis

A large object looms above Mount Shishio in the city. Named Monohorn, which means "monster horn", it has been embedded in it since an incident 16 years ago.

After the incident known as "K-DAY", where monsters appeared worldwide at the same time, monster disasters have become commonplace. In Japan, the Earth Defense Force uses its power to confront monsters, while the Kaiju Disaster Prevention Research Institute (also known as SKIP) (SKIP Scientific Investigation and Prevention Center/Kaiju) collaborates with local communities to conduct scientific research and provide evacuation guidance to prevent monster disasters and become more serious.

Yuuma was 7 years old when he faced the attack of Monogeros while camping with his parents on Mount Shishio. He miraculously survived without injury, which led him to continue researching monster biology. Yuuma, despite having a painful past, has grown up without losing his power of imagination to dream, and decides to join SKIP as a new investigator and is assigned to the Hoshimoto City branch office.

However, at that time, a large-scale monster disaster occurred in Hoshimoto City. “I want to protect the people in front of me who are in difficulty!” At the moment strong and direct feelings emerged from the depths of his heart, “Luthion,” the bearer of the light message he saw when he was a child, spoke in Yuuma's mind:

"I am you, you are me. Release your imagination!"

​​When a mysterious light appears in his hand and envelops Yuuma's body, the released power of imagination connects light and humans as one, transforming into "Ultraman Ark", a giant light that protects the future! Along with their precious friends, Yuuma and ULTRAMAN ARC begin to chase their eternal dreams!

3. Main Character: Yuuma Tobise

Yuuma will be played by Yuki Totsuka.

A rookie researcher who has been working at the Monster Disaster Prevention Science Research Institute, Hoshimoto City Branch, known as SKIP, for three months.

He is kind and straightforward, and when he thinks of doing something for others, he takes action without considering the consequences, to the surprise of everyone around him.

Due to the painful experience of monster disasters caused by Monogeros when he was young, he decided to pursue a career in monster biology and joined SKIP in the hope of helping those who suffer the same affliction. He conducts investigations using his extensive knowledge of monsters and special monster detectors.

"Run! Yuuma!" is his motto.
