Ummi Pipik Answers News about Adiba Khanza and Egy Maulana Vikri Getting Married, Supports Their Early Marriage

"Just wait, it's still a secret. In the name of Allah, please pray. Hopefully, we will soon go towards something good," said Ummi Pipik when met in the Kalibata area, South Jakarta some time ago.

When asked further about when the wedding will be held, Ummi Pipik didn't want to answer. Apparently, she was afraid of being scolded by her child. But one thing for sure, Ummi Pipik always supports whatever choice Adiba makes.

"In the name of Allah, I don't want to answer. Later, her child will scold me, as parents, we can only pray. We as parents cannot force our will, it's their children who get married, they are the ones who live it, we can only pray and support if the child is happy, in the name of Allah with their choice," said Ummi Pipik.

Ummi Pipik also strongly supports her children to get married at a young age. This is because Ummi Pipik and the late Ustaz Jeffri Al Buchori also did the same thing.

Regarding stability and sustenance, Ummi Pipik believes that it can be sought after getting married. The important thing is that her children can immediately avoid committing sins.

“Yes, if I do teach my children to get married at a young age. I got married to Uje when I was 23, and Adiba was also 23. If they are ready, there's no need to consider material things first. If they are married, sustenance will come,” said this 45-year-old woman.

“Look at how I and the late (Uje) were like. Eventually, they said 'oh yeah'. Because if we wait until we have enough savings, it will take longer and there might be more sins, so we're afraid of that,” she continued.

In addition, Ummi Pipik also always teaches her children to be able to live independently after getting married. Ummi Pipik forbids her children from living with her after getting married. 

“This is what I always discuss with my children, including Abidzar, that once you're married, don't live with Ummi anymore. It's not about kicking them out, but I teach my child to be independent, especially Abi,” said Ummi Pipik.

“This is to avoid jealousy between a son-in-law and a mother-in-law, or between a mother-in-law and a daughter-in-law. Getting married at a young age is great for avoiding sins, and surely Allah will provide blessings,” she concluded.
