Unstoppable Tears of the Family When Accompanying Yopie Latul's Funeral

Kapanlagi.com - Senior singer Yopie Latul was buried today at the Tanah Kusir Public Cemetery, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta, on Thursday (10/9) with strict health protocols. Before being buried, Yopie Latul's body was first cremated at the RS Sentra Medika Crematorium, Cibinong, Bogor Regency, West Java.

After being cremated, the body of the singer of the song Poco-Poco departed from RS Sentra Medika, Cibinong, Bogor Regency at 12:30 PM WIB heading to TPU Tanah Kusir. It is known that Yopie Latul died from COVID-19, hence strict escort was carried out throughout the journey.

The mourners were seen wearing masks and face shields while accompanying the body of Yopie Latul. After that, at around 1:30 PM, Yopie Latul's body arrived at the Tanah Kusir Cemetery.

Instantly, a feeling of sadness was felt, uncontrollable tears from the family as the body was taken to its final resting place. The family's tears broke even more when the farewell ceremony was conducted, and a sense of mourning continued to envelop the funeral procession.

Yopie Latul, a singer from Maluku, passed away on Wednesday (9/9). Before his passing, he was also confirmed to be infected with Covid-19, as confirmed by his son, Carlo.
