As a result of the post, Virgoun finally decided to end his marriage with Inara by filing for divorce at the West Jakarta Religious Court. Therefore, Ustad Derry conveyed that such a thing should not be experienced by people and never vent anger through social media.
"(If you don't want to reveal it on social media) maybe it won't be as big as this. This is a lesson for all of us," said Ustad Derry Sulaiman in Tendean, South Jakarta, Saturday (20/5/2023).
"Sometimes when we are angry, take ablution, pray, and ask for forgiveness a lot. Don't take your phone," added Ustad Derry.
The rice has turned into porridge and now Ustad Derry can only pray that the problem between Inara and Virgoun can be resolved without going through the court process. Of course, he hopes that their household can be intact as before.
"I want them to make peace, go through this life in a good and right way. Without having to go through the court. Because this is an internal problem," said Derry Sulaiman.
"I'm trying my best not to take sides. I respect Virgoun, I respect Inara. If Inara asks for help, I don't want to interfere in other people's affairs either," he concluded.
