Ustaz Derry Sulaiman Reveals His Father's Unfulfilled Desires Before Passing Away

Kapanlagi.com - Ustaz Derry Sulaiman has recently lost his father, Nashrullah bin Ismail, who passed away on Thursday (11/12) around dawn. The deceased's body has been buried at TPU Khusus Griya Serpong Asri PSPJ Ar Rahman, Cisauk, Tangerang on the same day.

Passing away suddenly, Ustaz Derry Sulaiman admitted to being shocked as he had previously made a video call with his father. Moreover, the deceased had no history of chronic illness.

When interviewed by the media at TPU Khusus Griya Serpong Asri PSPJ Ar Rahman on Thursday (11/12), Ustaz Derry Sulaiman expressed regret behind his father's departure. This is because of the various desires of the deceased that were not fulfilled before his death.

"Yeah, there were many, I just made promises but haven't fulfilled them yet. So many things I wanted to give, to make him happy. But regret always comes, it's always too late," said Ustaz Derry Sulaiman while sighing.

He continued, "So we were planning to go on a trip, to the peak, rent a villa, have fun with the family. Because I haven't seen them for a long time, since I've been preaching and only meet once a month. That's why my father said 'Derry, when will you have time for me?' So I said when I come back from Semarang."

2. Moment of Shock

Previously, Ustaz Derry admitted to being shocked when he heard the news of his father's passing. Especially since his father passed away 2 minutes after their video call ended.

"Thank you, friends, for your condolences. Yes, this is very shocking because we were still communicating last night. My father and I were still having a dialogue, still talking, still video calling this morning. Suddenly, he had difficulty breathing, so I recited 'lailahailallah, lailahailallah', and it turns out he had already passed away," he concluded.
