The case of breach of contract and alleged fraud committed by Ustaz Yusuf Mansur continues to unfold to this day. He was sued by the victims of Joint Venture to the Tangerang District Court on Thursday (9/12/2021).

The lawsuit was filed because Ustaz Yusuf Mansur (UYM) was said to have not fulfilled his promises as stated on television and in the certification letter.

"We filed this lawsuit so that the concerned party, Mr. UYM, can fulfill his obligations that were previously promised, whether through television media or stated in the certification letter, in this case, the issue of joint venture. We hope that the trial process can proceed smoothly and our actions can be granted by the Panel of Judges," explained the legal counsel for the victims of Joint Venture, Ichwan Tony, at the Tangerang District Court on Thursday (9/12/2021).

4. Are There 12 Victims?

At least 12 people claim to be victims of Patungan Usaha and have chosen to pursue legal action to get their money back. The victims come from various regions.

"The lawsuit material is related to promises. Previously, the person in question had a business program for joint ventures in apartments and Siti hotels in Tangerang. We represent several clients from various regions who claim to have provided joint venture funds for the hotel and apartment. However, there is still no clarity. Although we have previously sent a summons or warning, there has been no response from the person in question. So we are taking legal action through civil law," Ichwan continued.

In their lawsuit, the victims request that the Judge order UYM to return the money that has been deposited. In addition, UYM must also compensate for material and immaterial losses.

"Our demand is for both material and immaterial losses that UYM promised to our clients," he added.

5. There is Evidence

The victims also claim to have several transfer proofs to UYM's account as a form of Joint Business. This also strengthens the victims' lawsuit against UYM.

"Yesterday when we submitted the summons, we attached and explained that our clients have transferred a certain amount of money in the joint business program. The plaintiff also has a certificate," concluded Ichwan.
