Kapanlagi.com - The daughter of singer Nia Daniaty, Olivia Nathania alias Oi is currently under detention at the Jakarta Metropolitan Police Detention Center after being named a suspect in the CPNS admission fraud case.
Actually, Oi's lawyer, Susanti Agustina, has submitted a request for a suspension of detention for her client.
However, the suspension of detention has not been submitted by the investigators. Director of General Crime Investigation of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Police Commissioner Tubagus Ade Hidayat, explained that there are several reasons why they have not granted the suspension of detention requested by Olivia.
"Why hasn't it been granted? Because of subjective reasons, namely the suspect can destroy evidence, can repeat the act, and can escape. Based on that, the investigators have not granted the suspension," said Tubagus at the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Monday (15/11/2021).
Previously, the police have also named four other individuals as suspects in the CPNS admission fraud case. They are FM alias K, ES, R, and SN. Until now, the police are still conducting examinations of the suspects.
"They are being examined today. If they are charged under Article 55, 56, it means they are involved," Tubagus concluded.
