Vadel Badjideh Continues to Dance While in Detention, Regularly Calls to Prayer and Participates in Religious Activities - Makes Family Touched

The activity is regarded by the family as a way for Vadel to keep his mental and emotional state stable behind bars. His cellmate gradually began to recognize Vadel's habit of being unable to stay still and always being active. 

"His friends just found out that he dances. 'What are you doing, Vadel?' 'Yeah, I'm practicing dancing,'" added Bintang.

Besides dancing, Vadel is also active in religious activities in detention. He is one of the inmates who regularly participates in the call to prayer in rotation with other cell occupants. "Yeah, they take turns. Every call to prayer, he takes turns with his friends. That's the rule," added Bintang.

His other brother, Martin Badjideh, is also proud to see Vadel's development. He mentioned that his younger brother has become a more mature and religious person during this legal process. "More mature, wiser, definitely more religious, thank God in the future he will only get better," said Martin.

To provide full support, the family even temporarily halted their dance activities outside. Their focus is now entirely on accompanying and praying for Vadel. "Yes. Stop for now to wait for our Vadel later," said Bintang.

They believe that this long process will bring great wisdom for Vadel's future life. Prayers and hopes continue to flow from all family members.

As is known, Vadel Badjideh has been named a suspect by the South Jakarta Metro Police in a case of alleged sexual intercourse and abortion involving Laura Meizani alias Lolly (17), the daughter of artist Nikita Mirzani. The suspect status was established after Vadel underwent an examination on Thursday, February 13, 2025. Since then, he has been detained for further legal proceedings.
