Vega Darwanti's Mother Passes Away, Irfan Hakim Shares a Touching Story

Kapanlagi.com - Sad news comes from presenter Vega Darwanti. Her mother, RA Dian Arunda Dewanthy, passed away on Monday (13/7/2026). The passing of the deceased left deep sorrow for family and friends who came to pay their respects at the funeral home in the Jatinegara area, East Jakarta.

One of the friends present, Irfan Hakim, admitted he was shocked when he received the news. Previously, he only knew that Vega's mother was undergoing treatment due to illness.

"I really didn't expect it, I was shocked. I thought she was just sick. Then I thought it was just news to a few people. And then I forgot about the next news," said Irfan Hakim when met at the funeral home in the Jatinegara area, East Jakarta, on Monday (13/7/2026).

1. The Late Mother of Vega Was Treated in ICU

Irfan revealed that the deceased had been treated in the ICU before finally being cared for at home. During the treatment period, her children took turns looking after their mother. On the last night before her passing, it was Vega's turn to accompany her mother.

"He said she was already in the ICU, but then she was finally cared for at home, with all the children taking turns looking after her. Then last night, it was Vega who stayed with her," he said.

2. Vega Kisses Her Mother

In the midst of the mourning atmosphere, Irfan shared a story relayed by Vega about the moments leading to her mother's departure. Vega admitted that she had woken up from her sleep because she felt as if someone had kissed her.

"Then just now when Vega was telling, she woke up because she felt someone kiss her, then Vega woke up, and there was no one there, and when she looked, her mother had passed away," Irfan conveyed Vega's story.

3. Vega's Mother's Face Looks Very Peaceful

Meanwhile, Anwar BAB, who also came to pay his respects, admitted to seeing the condition of the corpse after it was made up by Vega. According to him, the face of the deceased looked so clean and peaceful, like someone who was sleeping soundly.

"Earlier, she was sleeping very quietly, really sleeping, oh God. Just now, Vega finished applying powder on her, he said her face was indeed very white, very clean, mashallah, like she was sleeping," said Anwar.
