"Mom and Dad always say as long as your intentions are good and you have the right principles, you don't need to be afraid. You pray, because God willing, no matter how much people want to bring you down, if God doesn't allow it, it won't succeed," Verrell added.

In addition, Verrel also gained a lot of knowledge from watching shows hosted by Najwa Shihab. He also learned how to bring down political opponents by killing the messenger.

"A threat that we can do, which is to kill this person by destroying their credibility," said Verrell.

2. His Credibility Was Ruined

Verrel's credibility was ruined regarding the photo that allegedly showed him kissing Athalla Naufal on the lips. It was also related to the sexual orientation of the sibling.

"Maybe the media friends already know. Yesterday, a photo of me and my brother was circulated on social media, which was not like that at all," explained Verrell.

3. Not Losing Spirit

However, all of that did not break Verrel's spirit to continue participating in the political world. In fact, all of it became a trigger for him to become a better person in the future.

"So in my opinion, it's not a burden or something that I need to worry about. Instead, it motivates me and benefits me," Verrell Bramasta concluded.
