Vicky Prasetyo Sentenced to 8 Months in Prison, Angel Lelga: This is My Patience Bonus

Kapanlagi.com - Angel Lelga said that she was no longer interested in following the developments of Vicky Prasetyo's trial for defamation that she reported. She also claimed not to care how long the judge's punishment would be for her ex-husband.

"No matter how long (Vicky is sentenced), I no longer think about it because when he was first picked up and put in jail, for me, this is already the answer that he is guilty. Meaning there is a punishment for his actions," said Angel Lelga when met in the Mampang area, South Jakarta, on Monday (12/7).

Angel Lelga also considers the prosecutor's demand for Vicky Prasetyo to be sentenced to 8 months in prison as a bonus for her patience in fighting to restore her reputation against accusations of adultery.

"Now, if (Vicky Prasetyo) is sentenced for how long, it is no longer my concern. Because even one day in jail is enough, and the prosecutor's demand of eight months is considered my patience bonus," she said.

1. Vicky's Accusations Proven False

The prosecutor's demands are also seen by Angel Lelga as evidence that what Vicky Prasetyo accused her of is not true. Angel once again emphasized that what happened to her in the past is a form of defamation.

"After yesterday's demands, I just found out, 'oh, it's like this'. Because not everyone understands this story, this issue. What many people know is that there was a man at Angel Lelga's house without knowing the chronology, and this is Vicky Prasetyo's success in ruining my name," said Angel.

2. Chronology of the Case

As known, the case between Angel Lelga and Vicky Prasetyo occurred in November 2018. At that time, Vicky raided Angel's house and accused her, who was still his wife, of committing adultery with Fiki Alman.

Vicky also reported Angel to the police with charges of adultery. However, the report was stopped because there was no strong evidence to prove that Angel Lelga committed adultery.

Then, Angel Lelga, who was not satisfied with Vicky's actions, took legal action by reporting Vicky to the police for defamation and Article 311 and 335 of the Criminal Code. Angel's report was processed by the police. Vicky was also briefly detained at Salemba Detention Center, Central Jakarta, before his suspension of detention was granted.

The case is still ongoing at the South Jakarta District Court, and during the reading of the indictment hearing held on Thursday (1/7), the Prosecutor demanded that Vicky Prasetyo be sentenced to eight months in prison for violating Article 335 Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
