Recently, a video circulated showing Yusuf, the child of Alvin Faiz and Larissa Chou, being sent back on the roadside late at night. Alvin was immediately criticized by netizens. Not staying silent, Alvin clarified the situation. According to him, he was in a hurry at that time. Here are the details.
In the video, it is alleged that Alvin's party was the one who dropped Yusuf off on the side of the road late at night. He was returned to Larissa in a way that the public deemed inappropriate.
Alvin also spoke up. Through his personal Instagram on Wednesday (20/4), he explained the chronology of events. That day, Yusuf was actually supposed to stay at his house for 3 days.
But a tragedy struck, Alvin's grandmother passed away. Alvin had to quickly go to Sentul because he was assigned to be the imam for the funeral prayer. The grandmother's body was to be buried in Aceh.
Therefore, instead of leaving Yusuf alone at home, Alvin chose to send Yusuf back to Larissa. His wife and babysitter were the ones who took him there.
In the video, a woman can be seen escorting Yusuf from the car to Larissa's embrace. However, Alvin expressed a different statement.
According to him, Alvin's wife also got out of the car and said goodbye to Larissa, but it was not captured on camera. Alvin did ask his wife to go home immediately.
Because of the viral video, Alvin was reminded by netizens not to treat Yusuf like a stepchild. According to them, Yusuf still has the blood of a religious scholar flowing in him, which comes from his grandfather.
