Vidi Aldiano Accompanied by 15 Lawyers Faces Copyright Lawsuit from Keenan Nasution Regarding the Song 'Nuansa Bening'

According to Minola, the follow-up hearing will be held again in the middle of this month. He hopes that all requirements from Vidi's side are complete so that the hearing can proceed to the proof session. "The next process is the question and answer from both parties," explained Minola.

Minola also mentioned that Vidi's legal team is now being handled by the same party as during the previous summons process. He stated that this could serve as a basis for further discussions regarding efforts to resolve this matter.

"It turns out that the lawyer appointed by Vidi is the same legal counsel as when we issued the summons, from the Hasibuan Hasibuan office, Yakup Hasibuan," said Minola.

Although there has been no official discussion between the two parties, Minola opened the possibility of further discussions. According to him, communication can still be established as long as both parties are open to resolving the matter outside of court. "So there hasn't been any discussions, but if there are indeed discussions, it would certainly follow up on the conversations that have already taken place," said Minola.

On the other hand, Vidi Aldiano's legal counsel, Sordame Purba, confirmed that his team has just received authorization from their client. This is what caused their legal status to be incomplete when they appeared in court. "We just received the authorization today, and it hasn't been registered yet," said Sordame.

Sordame stated that the handling of this case is led directly by Yakup Hasibuan. He mentioned that the number of lawyers involved in Vidi's legal team is quite large. "We have many, there are 15 authorized representatives," explained Sordame.

The lawsuit against Vidi Aldiano has been officially registered at the Central Jakarta Commercial Court. The lawsuit is registered under case number 51/Pdt Sus-HKI/Cipta/2025/PN Niaga Jkt. Pst.

In their lawsuit, Keenan Nasution and Rudi Pekerti accused Vidi of using the song Nuansa Bening without the creator's permission. They requested that the panel of judges declare a copyright infringement in the use of the song. Due to the alleged infringement, Keenan and Rudi are demanding compensation of Rp 24.5 billion.
