Happiness is enveloping the family of Jessica Iskandar and Vincent Verhaag. After going through a series of processes, Vincent is finally officially recognized as an Indonesian Citizen (WNI). This significant decision is certainly welcomed with joy by his wife.

Jessica Iskandar, or affectionately known as Jedar, could not hide her happiness. She expressed her gratitude for the smooth process her husband went through.

Jedar revealed that the process of becoming a citizen is now much easier thanks to a transparent online system. Because all requirements can be met well, the process runs smoothly.

"I am very happy, grateful, the process was made easy by my husband, coincidentally we went through the online process. So everything is transparent," said Jessica Iskandar when met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, Tuesday (9/9/2025).

They even felt a special moment when invited personally by the minister to receive a plaque in person. According to Jedar, this is a special happiness for their family.

"When we were also invited by the minister personally to receive the plaque directly. That was amazing. A special happiness," she said.

For Jedar, her husband's new status will make their household life easier, especially since they live and build a family in Indonesia.

"I’m also really happy, we are now one nationality. I think it makes things easier for couples like us," she said.

"After all, living as a couple in Indonesia makes everything easier if we are indeed Indonesian," she concluded.
