Visiting the Jakarta Metro Police, Doctor Richard Lee Hopes for Peace with Kartika Putri

Kapanlagi.com - Some time ago, the public was shocked by the heated feud between Kartika Putri and a YouTuber and doctor named Richard Lee. Their situation escalated as they exchanged sarcastic videos and even met in person but still couldn't find a resolution.

Doctor Richard Lee and his lawyer Razman Arif Nasution visited the Jakarta Metro Police to inquire about the progress of the defamation case reported by Kartika Putri. Despite the time that has passed, their issue has yet to be resolved.

"I first inquired about the progress of the report filed by Kartika Putri's lawyer against my client, Doctor Richard Lee. From that meeting, my principle is to have this case resolved," said Razman Arif Nasution at the Jakarta Metro Police on Thursday (24/6).

1. Propose Peace

Meeting with the police, Dr. Richard Lee proposed that this issue should not be prolonged and wanted peace by withdrawing their respective reports.

"I want to convey that in my opinion, this case of Kartika Putri's report should not be prolonged, let's find a peaceful solution. Well, I hope that this can be reconciled, find a way out. She withdraws her police report, we withdraw our police report," explained Razman Arif Nasution.

"I hope for peace. But if not, it's okay, we'll continue, but I have already conveyed to the investigator to find a peaceful way out," he continued.

2. Already Apologized Many Times

Dr. Richard Lee admitted that he has apologized many times to Kartika Putri. Meanwhile, during the mediation process, Kartika Putri proposed three conditions regarding the apology that have not yet been fulfilled by Dr. Richard Lee.

"From the beginning, I didn't want this issue to be blown out of proportion. In fact, I have apologized many times," concluded Dr. Richard Lee.

As it is known, this case started when Dr. Richard Lee revealed beauty products containing harmful ingredients. Kartika Putri, who had previously reviewed one of the products on the dangerous list, did not agree with Dr. Richard Lee's statement and reported it to the police for alleged defamation.
