Want Shandy Aulia to Learn Islam, Father Prays Every Night Until Crying

A while ago, Shandy Aulia visited her father's villa, Jimmy Effendy. On that occasion, Shandy and Jimmy exchanged stories and expressed their hearts about their different beliefs.

1. Crying Every Night

Having different beliefs does not make Shandy Aulia and her father have a bad relationship. Jimmy even admitted that he always prays for the best for his youngest daughter.

"Right now, the only thing Papa hopes for in life is you, Shan, to be honest. Papa cries every night, praying only for you," said Jimmy as quoted from Shandy Aulia's YouTube channel, (11/9).

2. Hoping Shandy Can Find Guidance

In his prayers every night, Jimmy hopes that one day Shandy will find guidance and be able to learn about Islam correctly.

"If you can find guidance, learn about Islam, not just convert to Islam. Deepen your knowledge of Islam and deepen your knowledge of your own religion, and then you can determine where the common ground is. It's not easy for someone to change to another religion unless they find guidance and truly learn about it," said Jimmy.

3. Deepening Islamic Issues

In front of Shandy Aulia, Jimmy said that everything he does now is solely focused on his daughter. He really wishes for Shandy to deepen her understanding of Islam.

"Every day, Papa doesn't think about the world, doesn't think about work, Papa doesn't think about anything else. There's only one thing Papa thinks about, for the sake of Allah, if Papa lies, it's only because I want to save you, praying that you will receive guidance to learn the true religion," he concluded.
