Wardatina Mawa Rejects Restorative Justice, Alleged Adultery Case Involving Insan Handled by New Directorate

The alleged adultery case reported by Wardatina Mawa against Inara and Insan continues to heat up. Efforts for reconciliation through the Restorative Justice (RJ) mechanism proposed by the reported party have reached a dead end.

The Head of the Public Relations Subdivision of the Metro Jaya Police, Kompol Andaru Rahutomo, confirmed that Wardatina Mawa has outright rejected the peace proposal. So far, the investigators have not received any signs of a peace agreement between both parties.

"Yes. As I mentioned earlier... yesterday, the RJ (Restorative Justice) request was rejected by the reporter. Well, until now, the investigator has not received any information about a reconciliation from the reporter M with the reported party, right," he said to the media crew on Monday, (26/1/2026).

Interestingly, this sensitive case has now been transferred to a special unit newly formed by the National Police. The Directorate of Women and Children Services (PPA) of the Metro Jaya Police is entrusted with handling this case to ensure it is more focused and professional.

"Currently, the handling is being managed by the PPA Directorate of the Metro Jaya Police. This is a new directorate established by the National Police specifically to handle cases involving women, children, and other vulnerable groups," explained Kompol Andaru.

The establishment of this new directorate aims to ensure that the handling of cases involving women and children can be carried out with a better gender protection perspective. The police guarantee that the legal process will proceed transparently and objectively under this new unit.

"What is the goal? The goal is to ensure that the handling of victims, both women and children, becomes more focused and oriented towards gender protection, so we assure that the handling will be more professional," he added.

With the rejection of the peace effort, investigators are now preparing to advance the case to the next stage. The legal process will continue while waiting for further developments, including the possibility of a peace effort in the future, which has not yet shown any signs.

"Of course, with... with the previous input, which was the rejection of RJ, the investigator will proceed to the next process. Now, whether there will be a reconciliation later is still uncertain," he concluded.
