Wearing Minang Traditional Wedding Dress, Nikita Willy's Wedding Dream Finally Comes True

Kapanlagi.com - Nikita Willy and Indra Priawan have finally officially become husband and wife after conducting the marriage ceremony at Nikita Willy's residence in Jatiwaringin, East Jakarta, on Friday (16/10).

Both of them feel relieved and happy because the marriage ceremony went smoothly.

"I feel relieved because the long ceremony yesterday has ended and I am happy," said Indra Priawan during a virtual press conference through the YouTube channel bridestory.

1. Wedding Dream Nikita Willy

On this happy day, Nikita Willy looks beautiful wearing traditional Minang clothing in red complete with a headpiece. The artist, born on June 29, 1994, revealed her reason for choosing to wear Minang traditional attire because it is her wedding dream.

"I have had a wedding dream for a long time, really wanting to wear a headpiece and wear a red maroon dress. So I told the wedding stylist that I wanted this and finally he made it come true like this," said Nikita Willy.

2. Initially Wanted to Wear Lampung Traditional Clothing

However, Nikita Willy said that initially they were going to use the Lampung traditional procession for the wedding ceremony. But because there was a change of venue, they ended up choosing to use Minang traditional attire.

"Actually, the initial plan was to use the Lampung traditional procession for the wedding ceremony and the Minang traditional reception. But because we had already made a very luxurious Lampung dress and a very long gown, it seemed a waste to wear them at home," she explained.

"So we chose to wear Minang traditional attire because at the same time, yesterday we had just finished the series of evening bainai events, so we continued with the wedding ceremony using Minang tradition," concluded Nikita Willy.
